ABOUT THE TOUR

WHERE DO I SIGN THE WAIVER?

The waiver will be sent to you upon tour booking. Each individual passenger will need to complete and sign a waiver prior to boarding the vessel. The waiver is very simple and takes minimal time to complete, so please plan to execute as soon after booking as possible to ensure compliance and minimize delays.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN RIDE?

A maximum of 10 passengers and 2,800lbs.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATION?

The Fizzy Floater will operate on most Saturdays and Sundays with cruises departing every two hours from midday to evening (60 minute between each tour).   Boating season is May through September.

WHERE DOES THE TOUR DEPART?

Obviously, Geist Reservoir; however, passengers will be alerted of exact departure location upon booking and full payment of tour.  Parking is limited, so please plan accordingly.  If consuming alcoholic beverages, passengers are encouraged to Uber and not drink and drive.

ABOARD THE FIZZY FLOATER

RENTAL POLICIES 

  1. PASSENGER(S) must be twenty-one (21) years of age and present a valid government-issued driver’s license, identification card, or passport to be permitted aboard the vessel.  PASSENGER(S) unwilling or unable to present proper identification will be strictly prohibited from boarding the vessel and will NOT be issued a refund.

  2. PASSENGER(S) must review and execute the Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement prior to boarding the vessel and launch of the voyage.

  3. PASSENGER(S) must agree and adhere to all vessel rules, regulations, and safety requirements throughout the duration of the voyage.  Additionally, PASSENGER(S) must abide by all local, state, and federal laws while aboard the vessel and throughout the voyage.  Illegal actions of any kind, including use of illegal drugs and/or physical or verbal abuse, will not be tolerated; therefore, violation of this policy will result in the return to the check-in/ check-out location for immediate conclusion of the voyage and refunds will NOT be issued.  

  4. The vessel should only be operated by an employee or representative of THE FIZZY FLOATER staff.  PASSENGER(S) shall NOT be permitted to operate or attempt to operate the vessel at any time.

  5. It is the sole responsibility of THE FIZZY FLOATER to protect the safety of all staff, PASSENGER(S), and other bystanders throughout the duration of the voyage; therefore, THE FIZZY FLOATER reserves the right to immediately conclude the voyage if passenger safety is threatened or compromised.  In the event of immediate conclusion due to unsafe actions of passenger(s), the vessel will return to the check-in/ check-out location and refunds will NOT be issued.

  6. Verbal and/or physical abuse towards the staff and other passengers will not be tolerated at any time throughout the voyage.  THE FIZZY FLOATER reserves the right to remove any PASSENGER(S) that are displaying any type of verbal and/or physical abuse and refunds will NOT be issued.

  7. All reservations on THE FIZZY FLOATER must be made twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the voyage and requires a security deposit.  A security deposit is required in advance of and through the duration of the voyage in the form of a valid credit card.  PASSENGER(S) acknowledge, consent, and authorize the security deposit to be applied to any damage that occurs throughout the voyage inclusive of damages above and beyond the initial security deposit if applicable.

  8. PASSENGER(S) must acknowledge that he/she is personally responsible for any damage to the vessel and property of others incurred throughout the duration of the voyage.  Damage is inclusive of but not limited to any PASSENGER(S) careless action causing a) equipment destruction, b) equipment loss, c) assessed fines or tickets by law enforcement, and/or d) injuries to oneself or others throughout the duration of the voyage.  

  9. PASSENGER(S) shall hold THE FIZZY FLOATER harmless from any claim by himself, herself, other PASSENGER(S), or any third party for damages throughout the duration of the voyage.

  10. PASSENGER(S) understand that voyages on THE FIZZY FLOATER are non-refundable.  Voyages occur rain, shine, heat, or cold; however, should very extreme weather conditions prevail (tornado warning, lightning storm, etc.) THE FIZZY FLOATER reserves the right to cancel and/or postpone the voyage.  In these rare occasions, PASSENGER(S) will be permitted to reschedule the voyage at a later date.  Reference the Cancelation Policy & Procedures for additional details.  

OPERATING PROCEDURES

​1. THE FIZZY FLOATER rental includes captain and first mate hosts assisting in the entertainment and safe travels on your voyage on the lake.  This voyage DOES NOT ALLOW SWIMMING and violation of this policy by any PASSENGER(S) will result in immediate conclusion.
2. THE FIZZY FLOATER rental includes the cost of fuel.  Refueling the vessel will be the responsibility of THE FIZZY FLOATER staff and will NOT be the responsibility of the PASSENGER(S).
3. THE FIZZY FLOATER rental includes proper safety equipment including, life vests for each passenger, visual signaling devices, sound signaling devices, fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit.
4. THE FIZZY FLOATER rental includes speakers and lighting to enhance your voyage.  PASSENGER(S) are encouraged to bring their own music via a phone or wireless device and connect directly to the vessel sound system via Bluetooth or Auxiliary cord.
5. THE FIZZY FLOATER rental and vessel DOES NOT INCLUDE A BATHROOM ONBOARD; therefore, PASSENGER(S) must plan accordingly and come prepared or utilize public bathrooms before and/or after the voyage.  PASSENGER(S) will be assessed a $150 fine for public urination charged to the credit cardholder of the security deposit.

THE FIZZY FLOATER allows passenger(s) to bring:

- Prepared food


- Non-alcoholic beverages

- Coolers, bags of ice, and trash bags

- Sunscreen, sunglasses, and towels

THE FIZZY FLOATER does NOT allow passenger(s) to bring:
- Grills 

(charcoal, gas, electric, etc.)
- Generators
- Speakers
- Glass containers
- Liquor bottles

(paper, plastic, aluminum, and glass)
- Shots of alcohol (including Jell-O shots)
- Chairs or seating devices
- Fishing poles and related equipment
- Tobacco products (cigars, cigarettes, vaping devices, chewing tobacco, etc.)
